All the whirlie-gigs listed below are made from the wood of a Locust tree. This wood is prized for its resistance to decay. It will usually out last treated woods. They are hand painted and sprayed with 2 coats of exterior polyurethane to preserve the colors. This spray should be reapplied anually for maximum protection of the paint. They come with brass tube lined mounting holes in the bottom that have a stainless ball seated at the top of hole. Also included is a stainless steel nail on which to place the gig.
